Position Open: Operations and Events Coordinator
FINNOVATION Lab is on a mission to grow and support the community of entrepreneurs who are solving systemic problems through business, with a particular emphasis on Food/Beverage/Ag/ Pet/Beauty businesses. We are focused on building community & connections that support our local entrepreneurs to make the Twin Cities’ startup ecosystem thrive. In addition, FINNOVATION Lab is embarking upon a path to fixing the issue of wasted food in Minnesota through the recent launch of the CIRCLE Up Food Coalition.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Operations and Events Coordinator to join our team as we embark on our ambitious plans for growth.

50% - Business Operations: Manage our 10,000 square foot co-working space by ensuring the general atmosphere is welcoming, safe, and productive.
Manage front-desk relations & welcome visitors
Oversee maintenance contracts, supply levels, and cleanliness
Work with clients to manage memberships, leases, short-term rentals, and anything they need to function in the office
Support FINN Lab leadership with back-office support & systems management
50% - Event Planning & Program Coordination: Assist program leaders to coordinate and operate programs, events, including application and selection processes for cohort programs
Schedule and manage internal and external events held at our location.
Assist with the room and technology logistics of running curriculum and other events as needed
Help FINNOVATION Lab implement new educational programming and host in-person community events
Our ideal candidate has:
Entrepreneurial and/or Business career aspirations
Growth Mindset
Good time management and organizational skills
Research skills and natural curiosity to solve problems/ answer questions
Initiative to work independently, ask questions, and clearly document work
Proficiency in office software and an ability to learn new software quickly desired
Experience with customer service
Part-time position, approximately 30 hours per week. $22/hour.
Potential for Full-time with additional job responsibilities including the creation and management of marketing and social media responsibilities
